Every Friday afternoon at 2.40pm we all gather to celebrate pupils' achievements, both in and outside school.

We start our Celebration Assembly with an update on the School Team & Eco points.  Our teams are: Potter (Blue), Hagrid (White), McGonagall (Green) and Weasley (Red).   Children collect points throughout the week and then Year 6 helpers total these up ready for the announcement in assembly.  Winning teams are awarded the Team House cup and Eco certificates. 

Values Awards follow the team points.  Three children from each class are nominated and then one is chosen to receive the award.  Awards are for some aspect of behaviour or learning that has made them stand out that week. These children come to a Friday tea party with a Headteacher. Our values are

Respect ~ Resilence ~ Readiness ~ Kindness ~ Hardworking

Other awards are:

Sports Awards - given to a pupil from KS1 & 2 who have shown excellence in their PE lessons

Junior Travel Ambassador Awards: our JTAS choose a pupil from KS1 & 2 who they have seen being safe when travelling to school. They get to take a teddy home for the week  

Playground Leaders award: some Y6 pupils choose 2 children who have been kind and caring at playtimes

Golden Table: Lunchtime staff choose 3 children who have shown excellent manners and behaviour during lunch  The children get to sit at The Golden Table with a friend and there is a treat on Friday.
